2 December 2020, Heliox has signed a framework agreement with MAN Truck & Bus SE. Accordingly, MAN Truck & Bus, as part of its sales of battery-electric commercial vehicles, offers state-of-the-art charging infrastructure from Heliox in Europe.

Heliox fast-charging infrastructure solutions for heavy-duty use, stretch from mobile chargers (25 kW) for use in service stations, to charging at night in depots, up to opportunity charging (600 kW) on the route. With the new portfolio of products, MAN Truck & Bus SE is able to cater to any charging strategy, regardless of the size of the e-fleet. Within the framework agreement, Heliox also takes care of installation and service, at the request of the customer.
Quality and reliability are of the utmost importance to guarantee maximum uptime of the MAN Truck & Bus e-fleet. Heliox products are compliant with industry standards like CE, UL and follow the OCPP protocol. To ensure the certification process from CCS, Heliox is also an active member of CharIN.
Stefan Sahlmann, Head of MAN Transport Solutions, explains the new offer: "We are convinced that with the eMobility domain, the customer expects a comprehensive range of solutions from us. In addition to comprehensive advice on switching to electric commercial vehicles, this also includes services relating to charging and energy".
